February 2011

Dear Clients

March already! This year looks like going faster than last.

Many changes are occurring in the Business arena, none more so than with the Australian Taxation Office. In a move to regain lost revenue the Tax Office has now commenced issuing notices under Section 260-5 of Schedule 1 of the Taxation Administration Act 1953.

This notice is a demand issued to the relevant Bank (the Taxpayer's Bank) to pay to the Taxation Office all monies due or 30% of any available balance (whichever is the lesser) at that particular point in time.

Please check your outstandings with the Tax Office; if need be contact us to arrange a repayment program suitable to you, thus enabling the continued reduction of debt.
